Because design is (my) life

I follow the philosophy of slow-made design, believing that investing in higher-quality, long-lasting products not only reduces our impact on nature but also reflects who we truly are. This principle values quality over quantity, craftsmanship over industrial production, and sustainability over immediacy. Therefore, most products, such as bags, are made to order. This allows us to offer unique products with greater value due to the careful control over their appearance and functionality. On-demand production has advantages, such as reducing waste, since we only make what has been ordered. This concept prioritizes product quality, as each item is crafted with great care and extreme attention to detail.

Timeless material

The only leather type of grain hide used on our products is full-grain leather, it displays all of its natural markings and imperfections, which enhance its character. As the strongest and most durable part of the hide, it remains intact without being sanded down for a more uniform appearance as many luxurious brands do. This preservation of the grain not only adds uniqueness but also significantly extends the leather's lifespan.

All animal-derived materials used in our products come from certified tanneries in the Tuscany region of Italy. The tanning process is entirely free of metals and chemicals, relying only on natural raw materials and following EU environmental regulations.

The leather comes from animals destined for food, preventing waste, meaning no animal is killed solely for its skin. The farms where they are raised comply with European animal welfare laws.

The creative process takes place entirely in my atelier. This includes the original product design, manual leather cutting, sanding, painting, gluing, and hand stitching, among other steps.

All these careful steps ensure that when you purchase a Moura OG product, you are choosing an item that reflects not only a sophisticated lifestyle but also a deep respect for nature.
